Upcoming security enhancements to your FundBank banking platform

In today’s environment of rapidly evolving cyber security threats, financial institutions must continuously strengthen their controls in order to protect client assets and sensitive information. As part of FundBank’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security, we have implemented a series of enhancements to our banking platform.

 

As a result of these updates, you will notice two important changes in the way you access and use the FundBank platform:

  1. Additional authentication will be required if activity appears suspicious
    If a login attempt triggers certain security indicators, such as access from a new device or an unusual IP address, you may be asked to complete an extra authentication step. This measure helps us to ensure that only authorised users can access your account, even if login credentials are compromised.
  2. Transaction signing will require HID authentication
    All users will be required to sign transactions using HID. This can be completed via:

    • the HID mobile application, or
    • a one time password (OTP) delivered by SMS.

This added layer of verification significantly strengthens transaction integrity and reduces the risk of unauthorised instructions being carried out.

These improvements will deliver a more secure client experience while maintaining an efficient and user-friendly workflow.
