Jerome Ebanks

Jerome Ebanks leads the Trustee Services Department. Within this role Jerome oversees marketing and develops detailed marketing plans, identifying opportunities and developing new products, based on client requirements. In addition, Jerome oversees the provision of trustee services to a portfolio of clients including, but not limited to, STAR and charitable trusts, unit trusts, PTCs and structured finance companies, serving as either an authorized signatory of the trustee or a director.

Jerome has over 15 years of experience working with a number of international banks and renowned trust companies, including some of the largest in the Cayman Islands. His journey as a Trust and Estate Practitioner has seen remarkable progression, culminating in his pivotal responsibility overseeing Trust Services clientele at Fund Bank.

Prior to joining FundBank, Jerome held the position of Manager, Private Clients at Suntera (Cayman) Limited. Throughout his career, Jerome has gained extensive experience in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional structures and handling noncontentious matters and has overseen a wide range of Family Office structures across the USA, Latin America, and Asia. Jerome is skilled in trust management, working closely with specialist advisors, and has built strong partnerships with a global client base, primarily from the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Jerome has acted as Officer and/or Director for multiple companies. He is registered as a Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) and FinCEN in the United States. Jerome serves as a Council Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Cayman Islands.

Jerome is a Certified Block Chain Expert (CBE) as awarded by the Block Chain Council and holds a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (Trust Creation and Management, Company Law and Administration, Financial Management and Investments).
