James “Jim” Zurlo

Jim is a seasoned financial services sales professional with over 30 years of experience in the alternatives business sector. Jim joined FundBank N.A. in 2023 as Managing Director, Relationships and is based in the New York office. Jim serves as a key leader in FundBank’s business development and client relationship management initiatives. In this role, Jim provides comprehensive banking solutions, custody and trade execution services to alternative asset managers and their managed funds.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining FundBank, Jim spent 12 years as Director of Sales at TD Cowen Prime Services, New York, covering prime brokerage, managed back office, and outsourced trading where he maintained a portfolio of key institutional client relationships and accounts. Earlier in his career, Jim held senior sales roles at a number of leading financial institutions including Morgan Stanley and UBS.

Educational Background

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from State University of New York, Plattsburgh. His educational background enhances his strategic thinking and relationship-building skills, which he applies across institutional client relationship management at FundBank.
