Anita Keesee

Anita Keesee is a senior finance executive with over 20 years of experience in banking, accounting, and financial management. She brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, investment management, and operational efficiency within the Cayman Islands’ financial services industry.

Anita joined FundBank in 2025 as Vice President, Finance, where she is responsible for the bank’s financial strategy, treasury operations, asset management, and financial reporting. She leads initiatives to strengthen performance, enhance internal controls, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining FundBank, Anita served as Director of Finance at Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Ltd. Her responsibilities spanned multi-jurisdictional operations in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Latin America. She played a central role in the implementation of Basel II regulatory reporting, the acquisition and divestiture of various operations, and centralisation of core activities, as part of process optimization efforts.

Anita began her career in Trinidad & Tobago at Ernst & Young, followed by senior finance roles at Shell Exploration and Schlumberger, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis in the energy sector.

She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a Master’s degree from the University of London. Anita is known for her analytical approach, strong governance focus, and commitment to building high-performing finance teams
