Mark’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Hartford, Connecticut, where he was selected to manage and invest over $300,000 in capital funded by the university and selected to compete in the CFA Institute Research Challenge.
Mark’s passion for sports was cultivated while studying and he competed as a NCAA Div. 1 soccer player during his time at university. He has also enjoyed playing with nationally-ranked Soccer Academy, B.W. Gottschee FC. Aside from his love for soccer, Mark completed a Half Iron Man in Dublin, Ireland as part of a relay team that qualified for the World Championship in Maastricht, Netherlands. In addition, Mark has undertaken numerous ‘Century Rides’ (+100 mile cycle) across the globe. His team spirit is a key attribute and makes him a valuable member of the FundBank team.
